I like the article a lots. Because I think that most of the author mentioned is true. Actually I like taking photography which can be recalled and kept our memory from the frozen time. I always believe that we can not hold the time we keep the time forever. Time is a kind of evidence and review. We can through photograph to review a moment in the past, such as we can see some people who have already left the world, our childhood and my friends. As the author mentioned that “Through a picture we have a record not only of our past, but of our present as well”.
When I finished reading the article, the author reminds me that photography is not an art, it also can be a medium to the real world. He mentioned that “I thought I was going to save the world with my photographs”. Then I much believed photography that can be changed the world. I haven’t experienced any wars, any earthquakes and any big disasters. As a result, I can not feel what the outcomes and aspects they brought out. Why do I know those bad things? Due to French army officer invented the technology of photography. Even I can’t experience and feel, but I can know what happened. We can feel a outcome of photography without distance, and we can record the reality true.

Genre of music by composers in different eras
There have six periods in western music history. In different period, music has some new genres. We can see the difference from medieval period to 20th century period. Thurs, music is changing until now.
In the oldest medieval period and renaissance period, music is much related to religion and politic. Many of genres are produced by church. And development of instrumentation was not good, vocal became a major instrument. And most of composers also were from church. At that period, the most popular music was from church, such as Gregorian chant and chorus music.
In baroque music, the instrumentation was developed basically. Music had a big changing. Composer started to compose instrumental music, such as chamber music and concerto music. Moreover, composer put vocal and instrumental music together, such as mass and messiah. Keyboard music was also developed, Bach is the main composer to keyboard history, and he established the 12-tone fingering scales. Fugue music can represent the keyboard music in that period.
To the classical music, music was not only relied on church. Court became another main sponsor and major place for music. Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven was 3 composers in that period. The genre of symphony became a trend, orchestra music became popular. Also instrumental music was important, sonata music and concerto music were a characteristic. The instrumentation got a new development again, clarinet was never appeared in baroque music, but the clarinet system was developed and stable in classical period.
In the romantic period, style is changed, piano music is a particular distinctive work. The structure of instrument has developed a lot, the register is become wider. In piano music, composer always composed it in free style, the composition is used many pedal to sustain the notes. The playing didn’t go straight forward, sometimes the music could take time a lot which depend on the player. Orchestra music extended the instrumentation again, the dynamic is big louder. Moreover, Beethoven made a choir to symphony, it was a big affection and new try for after composers, such as Mahler composed his symphony in same instrumentation. Opera was another successful genre in romantic period, although it has already appeared in classical period. opera music consisted of orchestra, actor and vocalist. Music was not longer belonged to court and church, the residence can become one of the sponsor and performer. Therefore, many music genre was appeared and developed.

what music means to me
In my view, music is a world language, it can communicate with people whatever it has lyrics or not, it mainly is a sound which attracts your heart so much, so it’s a power from nature I think. You can’t image that have influenced people many years already, when I studied the music history, I knew that many musicians worked on music until his/her last breath.
Sometimes, music would be a black magic. I heard from someone who said music player can expressive their stress in mind throughout music, but I think even you are music player or not, when you are in bad mood, you hear a happy song, you would feel a little bit than before, and contrariwise it would make you into a bad mood when you are happy. It may be a kind of medicine, or a kind of cure. But music is hard to study, it needs concentration, and keeps thinking on music, also it needs to have a good attitude to solve the coming problem, anyway, enjoy in music which is more important.

hahaha, for my english, i think i got progress, and i will think more before i speak english, it is amazing, keke^.^
recently, i notice the tense, such as past tense, present tense, it is really a simple tense, but i alway make a mistake by speaking, now i am getting better for that, and when i speak wrong, i will speak it again, it is just a learning, ^.^
english class is funny class in YST, the stress is less than other subjects although i need to get up early><

Open Topic--Respect
I think that we should respect everyone, whoever they are studying in music or studying in another subjects. I just want to say some my thinking in here, sometimes music student will so proud of themselves who may look down someone who are not studying. Have you noticed that or have you done it before?
In fact, music is not a subject i think that, it just a beloved thing and a long time insistence. You graduate from music school, it doesn't mean you could become professional. Nowaday so many music amateur can play well even better than music student. It depends on how working hard and focus on music.
For this youtube, most of us may watched it before, but it really inspires and reminds me, excactly represents what i want to say. You can see Susan Boyle was a older, who was looked down by Simon and audiences. She is not a professional pop singer but she really made a good job, furthermore her singing is better than many young singer.

Concert Review
I just watched a few concert until now, but I went to a concert lately that is a flute recital and was played by Mr. Jin Ta. When he played a first note of the recital, I was smiling. His timbre is very nice, sweet and projective. I didn’t hear the sound of breathing even he was playing the music in higher register which need to have a good diaphragm support and many breathe. I absolutely enjoyed the recital night and had a best sleeping in this week. ^.^

After listening the organ music
The show is brillent, she can play the whole orchestra music via Organ, the technic of player is good and control the musical well. But on my opinion, she cant really make real orcheatra music though organ, including the timbre ,dynamic and many many things, Orchestra music insiste different combination, sometimes the music is a little slowly for some part, even a little fast for some part, they may not play together, but you can found what the wonderful on it.
Organ just one timbre for any instrument, there are many timbre in the world, how can we use organ instead of orginal orchestra music? In the pitch, someone plays a little higher, then someone plays a little flatter, it make a perfect sound on this chord, because people can control on it, it is the music.
Moreover, people need time to practise difficult part, it need control all the finger and breathe well, but it is easy on organ which just need some fingers. I dont say the organ is not good, but for orchestra music i really prefer use real instrument and many musicians.
